Breast Screening

Pennine Breast Screening will be inviting eligible patients for routine breast screening. The service supports women across Bradford, Airedale, Calderdale, Dewsbury, and Kirklees, and women aged 50–70 will be automatically invited for a mammogram every three years, with the first invitation sent within three years of turning 50. Appointments will be offered at our mobile breast screening units travelling across the region or at St Luke’s Hospital in Bradford. If any follow-up appointments are needed, these will take place at St Luke’s Hospital. The service also provides MRI surveillance for women who are at a higher risk of breast cancer.
